Perky Bat Tower
In
Sugarloaf Key
, a guy wanted to drive out the mosquitoes by attracting bats -- with a belfry-like structure, naturally.
The bats he imported left; the skeeters didn't.
I'd like to think that the place was for perky bats, but actually Perky was the guy's name.
